The World Instrument Concert hosted by Wellington College UK

The stage was set for a fantastic collaboration of musical talent from across our global family of schools with a concert of words and music from around the world. The World Instrument Concert was held in the Old Gym at Wellington College, UK.

A talented collection of students from Wellington College International School Pune Pune, @Wellington College Huili Shanghai, Wellington College International Shanghai and Wellington College International School Bangkok students performed on screen using instruments named Khim, Ranat, Klong Yau and Krap Sepha, and the Ukele and also featured beautiful voices, and costumes and performances from Chinese Opera.

UK staff and students performed live with a selection of music and Irish jigs on steel pans, guitar & violin, the bodhran, ukeleles, Irish concertina and poetry performed to music.

A special mention to the founding staff and students of Wellington College International School Pune – this was their very first performance since the spectacular opening of the school on 18th September 2023.
