WELLINGTON COLLEGE CHINA: CELEBRATING SUCCESSES!
November 2020 has been a banner month as WCC celebrate high accolades from within China’s education industry, despite all the challenges 2020 has presented.
Hurun’s Top International School List
As part of its annual International School Forum, Hurun Education hosted an awards ceremony for the schools that were ranked on its 2020 Top International Schools list. WCC are proud to announce that Wellington College Shanghai 13 and Wellington College Tianjin at were listed this year at number 13 and 33, respectively, in China. Remarkably, Wellington College Tianjin is also the only international school in Tianjin to rank in the list’s top 100.
The Hurun Education Top International Schools list is one of China’s most trusted voices for discerning parents for the overview and ranking of international education institutions in China.

Distinguished honours at the 2020 Tencent Education Awards
Wellington College Tianjin has also been recognised at the recent 2020 Tencent Education Awards in Beijing, with two impressive awards. The College was named 2020’s Most Influential International School, and Dr Yang Yang, the Deputy Head of the College’s A Level Centre, won Tencent’s Outstanding Female Education Leader 2020 award.
The Tencent Education Awards are highly regarded by educators in China. The awards are voted for by thousands of netizens, educational experts and scholars.
